BBQ Spice Seasoned House-Made Potato Chips

Golden-fried house-made potato chips, coated in a craveable BBQ spice blend with just the right hint of sweetness and warmth.

1/2 cup Chef's Own® Pork Barbecue Spice
1 cup Brown Sugar, Dark
5 lbs. Cavendish Farms Freshcut Chips (or sliced potatoes)
PREPARATION

  1. Mix the Pork Barbecue Spice and brown sugar together and set aside.
  2. Heat oil to 350° F.
  3. Fry the chips until golden brown, approximately 4 minutes.
  4. Remove the chips from the oil, place them on a paper-towel-lined sheet pan, and quickly dust them with the spice mix.
  5. Serve immediately, or store in an air-tight container at room temperature for up to five days.
