PREPARATION
Smash the 4 oz. portion of ground brisket on a hot flat-top griddle and warm charred onions as well.
Once seared on both sides, melt the American cheese on the burger.
Place the bottom toasted bun on the serviceware.
Top the cheeseburger with the hot charred onions and pickled jalapenos.
Add mayo to the bottom bun and top with the loaded burger.
Top with the toasted Brioche burger bun.
Serve immediately with a cup of hot Beef Birria broth for dipping.
CHEF'S TIP
You can always substitute your favorite cheese with pepperjack or Monterey Jack for a variation on the classic American cheese flavor and texture.
