Al Pastor Crunch Dog

Featuring Custom Culinary® Al Pastor Sauce, Al Pastor Crunch Dog consists of a bacon wrapped hot dog, topped with pico de gallo and an Al Pastor drizzle. 

What You'll Need

Recipe Ingredients
1 ea. Hot Dog, all-beef, 6”, 8:1 (Vienna Beef Style)
1 ea. Bacon, slice, hickory smoked, (14:18 count per pound)
1 ea. Toasted Hot Dog Bun
2 Tsp. Mayo
¼ cup Pico de gallo, prepared
1 Tbsp. Custom Culinary® Al Pastor Sauce
2 ea. Cilantro sprigs, fresh, whole
PREPARATION

  1. Wrap the bacon around the hot dog, securing the bacon with a few toothpicks.
  2. Place the hot dog into the fryer basket and fry until the bacon is crispy and the hot dog has reached an internal temperature of 150°F.
  3. While the hot dog is cooking, toast the bread on a flat top or in the oven for 1-2 minutes.
  4. To build the crunch dog, spread the mayo inside the bun. Nestle the charred dog inside.
  5. Drizzle with pico de gallo and dle the crunch dog with the Al Pastor Sauce, and top with cilantro.
  6. Serve with fries, sweet potato fries, chips or even your favorite up charged side to drive higher check averages.
