Amount Ingredients
24 mini buttermilk waffles (store-bought or house-made using mini waffle iron)
  Butter (for toasting or brushing)
24 mini crispy chicken tenders (approx. 2–3 oz each) – frozen or freshly fried
  Lemon-Thyme Chicken Gravy (yields 1 gallon):
1 bag Custom Culinary® Chef’s Own® Low Sodium Chicken-Style Gravy Mix
1 gallon water
2 Tbsp  fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
2 tsp lemon zest
1 Tbsp unsalted butter for added richness (optional)

 
PREPARATION

  1. Whisk the Chef’s Own® Low Sodium Chicken-Style Gravy Mix into boiling water as per package instructions.
  2. Once thickened, add lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped thyme, and butter (if using). Hold warm.
  3. Bake or fry chicken tenders until crispy and fully cooked. Hold warm.
  4. Lightly toast mini waffles until golden. Brush with butter if desired for extra flavor.
  5. In each compartmentalized tray, place a waffle.
  6. Top with a chicken tender. Spoon warm lemon-thyme gravy generously over the top
